Official Announcement for the CW International Events in 2019
Greetings!
On the behalf of the executive board of the International Combat Wrestling Federation and on my own, I would like to thank to all Combat Wrestling athletes for their participation and help in all our events around the world.
I would like to congratulate all champions and medalists from this year’s international championships!
Due to visa complications, a few of the national teams were unable to participate in the CW Worlds 2018 in St Louis, USA, nevertheless the event was very professionally organized, with great display of sportsmanship and many high level grappling battles. The entire event will be released soon on the FICW YouTube channel, thanks to our official media partner The Grappling Central.
We are currently working to establish a official FICW Hall of Fame, where all repeated champions will be ranked and indicted.
I would like to announce that the 2019 official FICW international competitions calendar is now confirmed!
The Euros 2019 will be held in Tamasi, HUNGARY on 25th of May.
A reminder: all continental championships allow more than one competitor per country in all categories, so anyone, willing to participate, please contact your country representative for more information, how to reserve a spot on the national team.
Countries without FICW representatives, can contact the board directly at globalhq@combatwrestling.org
