On 27th of June were simultaneously held national trials for three of our national federations Malta, Italy and Hungary.

After hard battles, the athletes, who will most probably represent their countries were selected!

For Malta, the gold medalists were:

68 kg Matthew Camilleri

74 kg Karl Mifsud

82 kg Joseph Abela

Supporting bouts were held to determine other categories, where Kyle Abela and Mihail Proboisky won and reserved their places in Team Malta.

 

Hungarian team trials attracted quite a few youth athletes.
