On 15th and 16th of October, in the sport hall of Tamasi, Hungary was held the 2nd Combat Wrestling World Championship.

Thanks to CW Hungary representative, Gabor Szots, the organization of the event was perfect and the entire championship went smooth, allowing the spectators to enjoy the matches to the fullest. YouTube stream was also allowing Combat Wrestling around the world, to support their teams in real time.

For the very first time of the history of the sport, were held Youth, Female and Veteran world championship bouts on the 15th of October and on 16th, Sunday, the Adults stormed the mat for some high quality action.

Teams from USA, Japan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Canada, Serbia, Romania, Brazil, Bosnia grappled for the titles.

The USA team took home most of the gold medals, followed by Bulgaria and Hungary.

After the championship, FICW announced the host for the 3rd Combat Wrestling Worlds- Honjo, JAPAN!

The original place of birth of the sport of Combat Wrestling and the people, close to it since the beginning- Mr. Kiguchi Noriaki and Mr. Masa Yoshizawa.
